Terms of Service
Effective Date: 1st March 2026
Welcome to Minra Classix, a school management platform operated by Minra Technology ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the Minra Classix software, accessible via school-management.top and its subdomains.
- "School" or "Tenant" refers to any educational institution that registers on the Platform.
- "Admin" refers to the primary account holder who registers a School.
- "Users" refers to all individuals who access the Platform, including admins, teachers, students, parents, and staff.
- "Data" refers to all information entered into the Platform by a School and its Users.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Each School receives a unique subdomain (e.g. yourschool.school-management.top).
- You must be authorised to act on behalf of the School you are registering.
- We reserve the right to reject or suspend any registration at our discretion.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws of Ghana.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other Schools' data or accounts.
- Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
- Share your login credentials with unauthorised persons.
- Use the Platform to store or transmit content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
4. Subscription and Payment
- The Online plan is billed at GH₵750-1200 for the first term and subsequent terms GH₵299-1000 for the first 3 tiers.
- The Online plan is also billed at GH₵1200-3000 for the first year and subsequent years GH₵750-2600 for the first 3 tiers.
- The Fourth Tier plan is a custom based bill. It only applies to schools with more than 1000 active students.
- Payments are processed securely via Paystack, Flutterwave, Hubtel and Korapay. We do not store your card details.
- Subscriptions that are not renewed by the expiry date will result in restricted access until payment is made.
- Prices are subject to change with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 14 days of payment for refund requests.
5. Data Ownership and Privacy
- Your School retains full ownership of all Data entered into the Platform.
- We will not sell, share, or disclose your Data to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
- We implement reasonable security measures to protect your Data, including encryption and access controls.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you collect from students, parents, and staff complies with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
- In the event of account termination, you may request an export of your Data within 30 days.
6. Data Isolation
Each School's data is stored in a separate database. No School can access another School's data. Our multi-tenant architecture ensures complete data isolation between institutions.
7. Service Availability
- We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance via the Platform's announcement system.
- We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, hosting provider issues, or force majeure events.
8. Intellectual Property
- The Platform, its design, code, features, and branding are the intellectual property of Minra Technology.
- Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for the duration of your subscription.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for data loss caused by your actions, including accidental deletion or sharing of credentials.
10. Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
- Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.
- We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts (no login for 12+ months) after providing 30 days' notice via email.
11. Updates and Changes
- We may update the Platform with new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
- We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or the Platform's announcement system.
- Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through the courts of Ghana.
